TEDxCuraçao: Bridging the Gap

After 5 years TEDxCuraçao is back with an inspiring event. The theme this year will be ‘Bridging the Gap. TEDxCuraçao will take place on Saturday March 12th, 2016 at District 1850 in collaboration with The Movies.

The aim is to bring driven, enthusiastic and intuitive individuals together to captivate, inspire and connect. Island economics, a multicultural society and historical ties – our daily reality is filled with instances of, questions about and creative solutions that underline ‘bridging the gap’. The organizing committee searched locally and internationally so they can bring together insights from inspired thinkers to engage with a community of inquisitive minds and connect over innovative ideas. 

It will be an evening filled with TEDTalks from 10 speakers for a limited amount of attendees. These speakers hail from different backgrounds and work as professionals, entrepreneurs or entertainers. There will be ample networking opportunities and an after party for the attendees.

About TEDx, x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
